Mayan Palace

Although my first day was a bit hectic as there was no toilet paper and the phone did not work, the guest services quickly resolved it the matter and even offered a change of room. The bathroom is spacious and over all the room is great. It’s rather close to everything walking distance. The pools and beach areas are phenomenal. Customer service is 100/100. I highly recommend.

Excellent guest services and very friendly staff! The views from our room are glorious with palm trees, and blue skies. We are so close to the ocean, which was the main reason to get away. Our room is equipped with everything we needed. I am here with my husband and my youngest daughter and a close friend who recently lost his wife to cancer. It has been a time of healing and renewal for all of us. We feel very safe here and everyone is so friendly and accommodating. We took a taxi to Costco and bought a few items for our room for the week which was so convenient, only 30 minutes away. We also enjoyed the local restaurants here at the Mayan. The pool is on a whole other level, absolutely exquisite.

Very beautiful resort with a jungle theme. Not the best for individuals with disabilities. They offer accessible rooms and special transportation, but the resort is so spread out that you still have far to walk to get to desired buildings and events. Loved the people and service in all locations of the resort. The hand to heart geasture is amazing and make us feel.so special. They are so nice. The beach is rocky and it hard to enjoy the water for the large rocks. Also all 4 piers are broken and unusable with caution signs posted. Housekeeping rocks as they come twice a day.

We always stay here whenever we come visit Cancun. The employees are very friendly, the shops are reasonable in price. They have access to the beach.

Luis Perez is an amazing concierge! He’s a joy to be around and understands what hospitality truly is. The resort is very beautiful. Definitely a jungle experience. You are up close with the wildlife, the flamingos, crocodiles, iguanas, coati (raccoons), are all reach out and touchable La JOYÀ is an amazing show! Highly recommend! Quinto serves the most tender and juicy steaks! Definitely the best meal we had all week. Jade botique serves delicious crepes The pools are all so wonderful! The service is top notch. Every waiter, server, host, busboy, every employee worked ri make our trip fantastic!

Staff is really attentive and gentle. Restaurants and shopping stores inside the hotel offer a good variety of food/products. Generally speaking both are pricey. Hotel location is faraway from attractions on Mayan Riviera, so you need to consider taxi or shuttle for any local trip.

Absolutely amazing ! I’m sitting at a Cabana at the pool writing this review . The staff is great ! Customer service a 10/10! They truly care that you are satisfied and have a great experience. The pool is huge and so clean never over crowded . The beach is beautiful and the vibe is amazing . The steak house is so good and the food is to die for ! We are also going to try the Italian restaurant and Havana Moon down at the beach . We have heard they are very good also . The drinks are great not watered down like at some all inclusive resorts . Happy hour is from 12-2 pm every day . Great prices on drinks . The resort is huge but we never had to wait more than 5 min for a tram . They take you everywhere so while it takes time but we never had to walk . Our room is updated and clean ! We are staying at Mayan palace and we’re impressed . We will upgrade to Grand Mayan next time . I have nothing negative to say about staying here it this property. Book here you won’t regret it .

Loved our stay at the Mayan Palace from 1 to 10 definitely a 10 too bad we had to leave a day earlier due to a tropical storm.
